Damaged threads are not being rethreaded, but the material is formed back into the original shape without quality loss by rolling.
The advantage: While using the usual thread cutters, material is lost and the thread is weakened. SilberTool®-repairing tools form the turns of the thread back by cold hardening of the surface. Thereby, the tool can bei used at any point right next to the damage - even where it has not been possible before, e.g. at the thread end.
